I started photography in April 2008 with a Pentax K100D Super. In the last two years, I've upgraded to a Pentax K20D and an arsenal of lenses. I don't think I've found my photographic niche yet, though I'd like to think that I'm on my way there; Nevertheless, the process is, and has always been, extremely enjoyable and fulfilling each step of the way. I love photographing a variety of subjects, especially macros, landscapes and architecture. Portraits and streets, not so much. I frequently shoot school events and college sports for my college newspaper, the Chicago Maroon, and I also do the occasional freelance job.
